Article: Patinage Artistique - Masters d'Orleans (October 1, 2008)
The 2008/2009 is set to officially begin at the French rinks with Masters d'Orleans this weekend (October 2 - 5). The event will feature all French skaters on many competitive levels, featuring the top ice dancing teams. Article in today's issue of L'Equipe unvails the Original Dance music choices of the current world champions, Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder. "The rhytms of the 20s, 30s and 40s are the general theme picked this season for the original dance. "We have chosen the 40s and more particularly the period of Liberation." said Schoenfelder. For the free dance, they  chose t"The great gig in the sky" from the Pink Floyd" and the dance was choreographed in cooperation with Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon who had retired from competitive skating in May."

French ice dance silver medalists, Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat as well as current men's World bronze medalist, Brian Joubert appeared in today's episode of French realirt show "Fort Boyard". Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat Switch coaches (July 12, 2008)
French silver medalists in ice Dance, Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat have announced their decision to terminate their cooperation with Muriel Zazoui and Move to Moscow to Train with Alexander Zhulin, 1994 Olympic silver medalist in ice dance and coach of 2006 Olympic Champions, Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov. The couple made the decision after Isabele Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder had announced to continue skating until the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
